Whether you're hiking, biking, or horseback riding, you will find many varied trails to explore - trails within the Regional Parks and trails between the Regional Parks (interpark trails). The list below displays only the interpark trails. Search by selecting paved/unpaved, dogs allowed/not allowed, ebikes allowed/not allowed within the zip code or city of your choice. Trail Conflicts/Violations: Call (510) 881-1833 for the Non-Emergency Public Safety Line, 24 hours a day, or submit a Park Watch Report online.
Emergency/Crime in Progress: Call 911 or (510) 881-1121 from a cell, 24 hours a day. 

2022 Trails Challenge

Trails Challenge

Kick off the new year with the 2022 Trails Challenge! Free Trails Challenge 2022 t-shirts and printed guidebooks are now available at most Park District Visitor Centers, while supplies last. Limit of one t-shirt per person who must be present and one guidebook per family. Downloadable guidebooks are also available online. 

The Trails Challenge program encourages park visitors to explore new trails by foot, bicycle, horseback, or even in-line skating! Every year more than 10,000 people participate in this FREE self-guided hiking and bicycling program to explore the East Bay Regional Parks and to keep fit outdoors. Trails Challenge is a free program made possible through a partnership between the East Bay Regional Park District, the Regional Parks Foundation, and Kaiser Permanente.
