Government Affairs Department

The Government Affairs Department works on a local, state, and Federal level to support the Park District’s projects, programs and communities. Guided by the agency’s mission and elected Board of Directors, the Department:

  • tracks relevant state and Federal funding and policy programs
  • maintains relationships with external partners through regular meetings, site visits, and events
  • leads research and survey projects in support of identified advocacy goals.

The Department's scope of responsibility includes seven Board Members, eight Federal legislative offices, 11 State legislative offices, 10 County Supervisor offices and 33 cities with 180 council members.

Measure FF Special Tax Lien

Per state law, a Notice of Special Tax Lien is required to be recorded on properties subject to Measure FF. The Measure FF Special Tax Lien is recorded on property documents as Community Facilities District (CFD) No. A/C-3. The Notice of Special Tax Lien is NOT a traditional financial lien and DOES NOT mean that any amount of property tax is delinquent or has not been paid.
