The open hours for the main parking lot gate at Alvarado Staging Area are:
November - February: 7:30am – 5:00pm
March - May: 7:30am – 6:00pm
June - August: 7:30am – 7:00pm

Venue Activities
There are FOUR (4) reservable sites at Wildcat Canyon Regional Park. Beer and wine are allowed without a permit.
Acacia Picnic Area (35 person capacity)
Maximum site capacity is 35
Flush toilets at the site.
Parking is very limited. Please carpool as much as possible.
This site requires a short walk up a paved hill. The site overlooks the playground.

Alvarado Picnic Area (150 person capacity)
Maximum site capacity is 150
Flush toilets. Parking is very limited. Please carpool as much as possible. Shady or Partially Shaded.
ADA Accessibility: ADA accessible picnic table(s). The toilets are also ADA accessible.

Bay Picnic Area (50 person capacity)
Maximum site capacity is 50
Flush toilets (550ft away). There is a slight incline to get to the site. Parking is very limited. Please carpool as much as possible. Full Shade.
This very shady site is adjacent to a meadow. It is an under-used area just outside the central part of the park and is ideal for weddings.

Elderberry Picnic Area (50 person capacity)
Maximum site capacity is 50
Flush toilets at the site. Shady or Partially Shaded
The site is next to the Gazebo and lawn in the middle of the park. An ideal place for a small wedding reception.
