In October, 2019, the East Bay Regional Park District (Park District) Board of Directors held a public workshop on Trails. At that workshop, the Board heard testimony from a number of different park and trail users. The Board directed staff to convene an working group made up of stakeholders who are active trail users. On August 21, 2020, a “Trail User(s) Work Group” was convened by Park District staff at the first of several anticipated meetings. Meetings throughout 2020 and 2021 are expected. The meetings are recorded and the public may view the meetings at the links in the “Video” section of this web page.
In addition to Park District staff, the Trail User Working Group is made up of two people from each of the following categories of trail users.
