Firefighter Training Burn Notice

Firefighter Training Burn Notice – The East Bay Regional Park District will be performing a firefighter training burn at Point Pinole Regional Shoreline on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. as part of a firefighting training exercise. Smoke may be visible. Please do not report it to first responders, who are aware of the training burn. The training burn is in accordance with the air quality restrictions.

The East Bay Regional Park District is the largest regional park system in the nation, comprising 73 parks, 55 miles of shoreline, and over 1,300 miles of trails for hiking, biking, horseback riding, and environmental education. The Park District receives more than 25 million visits annually throughout Alameda and Contra Costa counties in the San Francisco Bay Area.
