Mission Statement

The Lifeguard Service will strive to deliver the highest quality lifeguarding and program instruction for the safety of park visitors engages in aquatic activities at our swim facilities.

What Do I Need to Apply

  • Complete online application form
  • You need to be 16 years of age or older at the start of the Lifeguard Academy (begins late April)
  • The ability to swim 550 yards in 10 minutes or less
  • You need to be focused, dedicated, and willing to learn
  • You must be available to complete a 10 day paid Lifeguard Academy
