Anthony Chabot Regional Park

Sanitary Sewer Management Plans

Overview

The Park District has prepared a Sanitary Sewer Management Plan (SSMP) that addresses the four parks that  operate over one mile of sewer lines. Each of the four parks, Anthony Chabot, Del Valle, Garin, and Coyote Hills in the SSMP has a unique SSMP Wastewater Discharge Identification (WDID) number. The SSMP describes each sewer system, our operation and maintenance program, overflow emergency response plans, and monitoring, measurement, and program modifications for the sewer system. The initial SSMPs were approved by the District Board of Directors on June 6, 2012 (Resolution No. 2012-6-140). The recent SSMP was approved on November 17, 2020 (Resolution No. 2020-11-266). Preparation of these plans is required by the State Water Resources Control Board Order No. 2006-003-DWQ and public posting of these plans is required by SWRCB 2013-0058-EXEC.
