Delays and Restricted Trail Access

The Town of Lafayette will be installing crosswalk safety improvements at South Lucille Lane and across from the Lafayette Community Center on St. Mary's Road during late May and mid June. There will be delays and restricted Trail access at these locations during construction. Updated May 21, 2025.

Trail Width Restrictions

Pacific Gas and Electric will be conducting vegetation management along the Lafayette Moraga Trail, in select areas from Oliveira Lane to the Lafayette Community Center in Lafayette. Trail width will be restricted during periods of brush removal. Updated May 21, 2025.

Located at the junction of the Sacramento and San Joaquin rivers, this 595-acre island in the Sacramento Delta north of Pittsburg is the home of six rare and endangered plant species, and a variety of aquatic birds. There are no facilities on the island.
