Dogs: No fee. Dogs are not allowed in the marsh areas. Dogs must be on a leash (six-foot maximum) elsewhere in the park.

Venue Activities
There are eight (8) reservable sites at Martin Luther King Jr. Regional Shoreline. Beer and wine are allowed without an additional permit.
West Side picnic sites: Off Doolittle Drive
Blue Heron (50 person capacity)
This site is approximately 75 yards away from the parking lot and 50 yards from flush toilets. TADA accessible picnic table(s). This site is good for launching kayaks.
Pelican (100 person capacity)
This site is nearest to the Shoreline Center. The parking lot is nearby. Flush toilets are next to the site. ADA accessible picnic table(s).
Rail (100 person capacity)
There is a paved path to the site and is the best access for wheelchair use. Parking is nearby and close to the boat launch area. There are flush toilets near the site.
East Side picnic sites: Off Swan Way
Bufflehead (50 person capacity)
This site is not wheelchair accessible. Parking and flush toilets are approximately 100 yards away
Egret (50 person capacity)
Parking and flush toilets are approximately 200 yards away
Kingfisher (50 person capacity)
It is a short walk in to the site on a paved path. The site is also paved. Parking and accessible flush toilets are approximately 50 yards away. ADA accessible.
Plover (50 person capacity)
It is a short walk in to the site but the path is not paved. Parking and flush toilets are approximately 50 yards away.
Tern (100 person capacity)
Parking is adjacent to site. Site is near the whale sculpture and sand play area. Flush toilets are nearby.
