Distinguished Veteran Pass Day Use Parking

At time of entry to the parks, persons presenting the “Distinguished Veteran Pass” issued by California State Parks will receive the following benefits:

  • A free day-use parking pass (at all parks that charge for parking)
  • Active, retired, and former military personnel receive FREE day-use parking, and free entry to Ardenwood Historic Farm admission on Veterans Day, November 11.
  • Free entry to Ardenwood Historic Farm (except during special events).
  • The Regional Parks Foundation offers a Special Access Membership for seniors 62 years or older, disabled persons, veterans, or full-time students. Proof of eligibility required.
  • NOTE: This pass is not valid for special events.

Honorably discharged war veterans who are residents of California with an overall/combined rating at 50% or greater service-connected disability, or were held as prisoners of war by forces hostile to the United States, or recipients of the Congressional Medal of Honor are eligible to receive the Distinguished Veteran Pass, formerly the Disabled War Veteran/Prisoner of War Pass.
