Free Day Use of Regional Parks for Military on Veterans Day Nov. 11, 2019

October 25, 2019

To honor active, retired, and former military park visitors, the Park District offers all active and retired military personnel free day-use parking and park entry on Veterans Day, including Ardenwood Historic Farm in Fremont.

Benefits apply to the individual military person, but not the entire family (except parking, which is charged per vehicle).

*Fee waiver is only for parking and park entry; does not apply to dog fees, boat launch or inspection fees, fishing permits, etc. Does not include fees for any concessions (such as merry-go-round, train, etc).

The East Bay Regional Park District is the largest regional park system in the nation, comprising 73 parks, 55 miles of shoreline, and 1,250 miles of trails for hiking, biking, horseback riding, and nature learning. The Park District receives more than 25 million visits annually throughout Alameda and Contra Costa counties in the San Francisco Bay Area.
