View Availability of Our Indoor Facilities Online

Now you can view live information about availability for our indoor facilities on EBparks Online, under "facilities" tab. Click here to search for future facility availability information.

The historic Brazilian Room is hosting its annual Wedding Fair featuring some of the best Caterers of the Bay Area who are approved for the East Bay Park facility. The Caterers will have samples for guests to try and present their menus. The fair will also feature photographers, bakeries, florists, entertainers and other selected wedding vendors. Come see the beautiful woodwork form the 1939 Golden Gate Exposition Brazilian Pavilion housed in a vaulted ceiling hall, lined with windows that look out over the hills and trees of Tilden Park.

Open House Schedule

• Brazilian Room: Open House for viewing the Brazilian Room are Tuesday except the fourth Tuesday, from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Two caterers are available from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

• Fern Cottage: The Fern Cottage can be viewed at 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM on Mondays only. No holiday viewing.
  Call the Facility Operations office to confirm a viewing for any other day.

• Temescal Beach House: First Tuesdays of the month, 1:00 - 6:00 PM - October thru April and 1:00 - 8:00 PM - May thru September.
  For viewing on another day call the Facility Operations office.

• Shoreline Center: By appointment only.
  Please contact Facility Staff at 510-544-3164.

All Facility payments are handled through the Facility Reservation office. Do not mail any correspondence to Kennedy Grove Regional Park District, Temescal Regional Park, or Shoreline Center or Martin Luther King Shoreline Regional Park.

Reservations

Beginning January 2, 2008 all reservations at the Brazilian Room will require a contract fee of $300 per 6-hour block to reserve a specific date. If this date is cancelled more than 120 days in advance, $100 shall be refundable and the remaining $200 forfeited. No tentative holds without an initial payment will be processed. Contracts for events under 120 days require payment in full. Facility Reservations may be contacted at (888) 327-2757 Option 2 for Reservations, then Option 2 for facilities. We have two departments that handle your reservations. For availability, booking your date, payments and insurance contact Facility Reservations in Oakland at 888-EBPARKS, option 2. For information on each rental site, catering, vendors, Step 2 (packet orientation), and return of all forms contact Facility Operations at the Brazilian Room at 510-544-3164.

Approved Caterers

We have a list of 12 excellent Approved Caterers. These are the only caterers or hired staff that may work within the East Bay Regional Parks rental sites.
