Healthy Parks Healthy People (HPHP) is a worldwide campaign. The campaign encourages healthy active fun in the outdoors while appreciating and taking care of our parks and open space areas.
Keller Beach Park is an approximately 1.5-acre park that is located within the Miller / Knox Regional Shoreline in Richmond, California. The Keller Beach Improvement project seeks to address issues identified in the 2019 Miller / Knox Land Use Plan Amendment.
The project is part of the Park District’s ongoing efforts to build up the topography of the park to meet the standards of the District’s Oyster Bay Land Use Plan Amendment adopted in 2013.

The East Bay Regional Park District offers many fun outdoor day camps for children.
The Outdoor Recreation Department, based out of the Tidewater Boating Center in East Oakland, provides a rich variety of outdoor programs throughout the Park District for youth, families, adults, and community partners.

South of Bailey Road is the name for an approximately 890-acre site that is a sub-set of the greater Thurgood Marshall Regional Park – Home of the Port Chicago 50, in Concord, California. About 40% of the land is dedicated to habitat restoration, while the remaining acreage is being opened to the public.
The Point Pinole to Wilson Point section of the San Francisco Bay Trail (Project) will construct a 0.9 mile, paved multi-use trail that will parallel the shoreline closing a critical gap between the cities of Richmond and Hercules.
