COVID-19 Park Closures & Parking Restrictions to Limit Overcrowding, Address Public & Staff Safety

Due to Covid-19 and until further notice, the Reservations Department is not taking any new reservations. In accordance with Local, State, and Federal recommendations surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic, all picnic, group and backpack camping reservations are cancelled through August 31st. More details.

Building Facilities CLOSED
All Visitor Centers, rental facilities and buildings, and campgrounds - including bathrooms and water fountains - are CLOSED. Programs and events are canceled. If you do visit a Regional Park, follow all Social Distancing Requirements and bring water and hand sanitizer. There is NO trash collection so pack out your trash (Pack It In/Pack It Out).

To subscribe to the print version of the Regional in Nature (RIN) Activity Guide, please call the Membership Department at (510) 544-2220 or mail in a check for $5.00 payable to the Regional Parks Foundation (RPF) indicating that you would like a RIN subscription. Indoor Facilities

We have four charming indoor facilities, perfect for a wedding or special event. All the following indoor facilities are accessible to persons with disabilities.

The reservation window for indoor facilities opens the first Monday in January for the current and next year. Example: If you want to reserve the Brazilian Room in June 2019, you can start calling the Reservations Office beginning the first Monday in January 2018.

Outdoor Locations

Ardenwood Historic Farm  (Fremont)

The grounds are graced by the stately Patterson House, a beautiful 19th-century mansion restored to its original elegance. The expansive lawns and surrounding gardens create a magical atmosphere for weddings, receptions and anniversary celebrations.
