Del Valle 2020 Closures
Due to the Visitor Center and Water Treatment Plant Capital Projects, parts of Del Valle Park will be subject to full or partial closures throughout 2020.
Visitor Center Project
The three picnic sites (Vista Del Lago, Valley Oak and Gray Pine) in the immediate vicinity of the project are currently closed to advanced reservations through the end of June 2020 due to impacts from construction fencing and closure of the restrooms adjacent to the visitor center. These sites may still be used on a first come, first served (non-reservation) basis. Building construction is scheduled to be completed by the end of June, however the Visitor Center will remain closed through September 2020 to allow for exhibit installation.
