**PROGRAM CANCELLED**
MONARCH BAY GOLF COURSE: You can help protect monarchs! Become a Community Scientist, trained by monarch experts to count and record observations (4+ times late Oct-Jan) at one or more overwintering sites in the East Bay.
PRE-REQUISITE: Must participate in Xerces Society’s Virtual Training prior to attending the in-person field visit.
In person Field Training will be happening on Sat, Oct 5, 8:30-11:30am at the Monarch Bay Golf Course in San Leandro. Additional Field Training will be held at various East Bay Locations throughout the season.
Ages 18 and up.
Free.

Meet outside the Mulford-Marina Branch Library in San Leandro. 13699 Aurora Street, San Leandro, CA 94577. We will take a short walk to the Monarch Bay Golf Course from there.
