Description
THURGOOD MARSHALL REGIONAL PARK - We'll bird among the bunkers (technically, magazines) and along the railroad tracks of this former weapons depot, while learning about the site's significance in the desegregation of the U.S. military and reflecting about the work that still needs to be done to make everyone feel welcome in their public lands. Bring water and sun protection. Gates will close promptly at 9:15am, no entry will be allowed after that.
This is a closed park, so gates will be open from 8:45am to 9:15am to let everyone in, then locked and reopened again at 11:15am for everyone to start leaving.
