Description
ENCINAL BEACH: The Alameda Recreation and Parks Department hosts cultural and natural history walks throughout the city during the warm months: https://www.alamedaca.gov/Departments/Recreation-Parks/Alameda-Walks. East Bay Regional Park District Naturalists will lead featured walks.
Meet at Encinal Boat Ramp. We will explore Encinal Beach and walk past the best viewing spot of Harbor Seals in the San Francisco Bay! We’ll stroll along the shoreline, passing the U.S.S. Hornet and the new Ferry Point overlook to Seaplane Lagoon Promenade and back. About 2.5 miles on flat trails. Bring binoculars if you have them, we will have a limited supply available to borrow.
No registration; drop-in.
