Brooks Island Trips and Tours

5/21/2012

Located just off the Richmond Inner Harbor, and recently featured in the KCBS TV-5 series “Eye on the Bay”, this 373-acre island preserve in San Francisco Bay has a colorful history and provides wonderful views of the Bay Area from its 160' rocky peak.

You may only access Brooks Island as part of a scheduled East Bay Regional Park District naturalist tour. Please call the Reservations Department at 888-327-2757, option 2 or visit EBParks.org/Register for the current schedule of trips or to register for a tour.

As of May 21, only six kayak trips with opening spaces remain in 2012, and no additional trips will be added. All trips are open for registration now. Spots fill quickly; please call early.

There are no remaining boat tours and no “bring your own boat” trips scheduled for the remainder of 2012.

You can register online 24/7 at EBParks.org/Register or by phone Monday-Thursday 8:30am-4:30pm and Friday 8:30am-4pm. Program registration cuts off several days before each trip.
