Park District to Discuss Wildlife Management Practices at Feb. 25 Natural & Cultural Resources Committee Meeting


On December 11, 2020, the Park District temporary suspended its policy allowing for lethal removal of feral cats by District staff until current practices and policies can be discussed publicly with the Park District Board of Directors. The Park District is currently reviewing its wildlife predatory management practices and policies regarding how best to protect endangered species as required by California and Federal regulations. The Park District is scheduled to discuss its wildlife management practices and policies at the next Board of Directors Natural & Cultural Resources Committee on February 25 at 12:30 p.m.
