Park District Board Changes Meeting Times

Beginning with its July 5, 2016 meeting, the East Bay Regional Park District Board of Directors will begin its meetings at 1 p.m., instead of 2 p.m. Closed session will begin at 11:30 a.m., instead of 12:30 p.m.

The changes were approved unanimously at the Board’s May 17 meeting, as a way to increase efficiency.

The 7-member Board meets the first and third Tuesdays of every month at District headquarters, 2950 Peralta Oaks Court, Oakland. Committee meeting times remain unchanged.

The East Bay Regional Park District is a system of beautiful public parks and trails in Alameda and Contra Costa counties east of San Francisco Bay, established in 1934.
