The popular Concerts at the Cove music series returns this summer to Alameda, on three Friday evenings: June 14, July 12, and August 9. The free outdoor programs will take place on the lawn adjacent to the Crab Cove Visitor Center, located at 1252 McKay Avenue in Alameda. Each evening features free family-friendly musical entertainment, in a festive outdoor setting with beautiful views of San Francisco Bay.

The Northern California based ensemble brings over 25 combined years of professional music and theatrical experience, to entertain audiences with beloved favorites such as "Go Your Own Way", "Gypsy" and "Strong Enough."

They’ll be followed on July 12 by the Bob Claire Orchestra, providing a lively and entertaining blend of soul, R&B, Motown, blues, jazz and rock’n roll. The final date will feature a battle of the bands between Bear Lincoln, Rudolph, and Soulstice.

Come by at 4:30 for a nature program at the visitor center. Bring your blanket or lawn chairs. Great food provided by Calafia Taqueria and Café Jolie will be available for purchase along with premium wines from R & B Cellars. Please, no outside alcoholic beverages.
