COVID-19 Park Closures & Parking Restrictions to Limit Overcrowding, Address Public & Staff Safety
The COVID-19 health emergency remains a serious and evolving situation. The Park District has announced park area closures to limit overcrowding and public safety. All Visitor Centers, rental facilities and buildings - including bathrooms and water fountains - are CLOSED. Programs and events are canceled. If you do visit a Regional Park, follow all Social Distancing Requirements and bring water and hand sanitizer. There will also be NO trash collection due to limited staff, so pack out your trash (Pack It In/Pack It Out). Park picnic areas are closed, and all group gatherings prohibited. Some parks, developed park areas, parking lots, and entrance points will be closed. More details...

Without the help of dedicated volunteers and members, the East Bay Regional Park District could not offer the public the variety of services and programs that it does. There are many opportunities for you, your family, or your school or civic group to get involved.
