Martin Luther King Jr. Regional Shoreline
(Oakport St./Peppermint Gate)
Monday, January 21, 2019
8:30am to 12:00pm
The Park District celebrates a Day of Service that continues Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s vision of solidarity, improving lives, bridging social barriers and move our country closer together. People from all walks of life are encouraged to work mutually in bringing a better community.
East Bay Regional Park District needs YOU! Volunteers will help restore Martin Luther King Jr. Shoreline by cleaning and removing invasive plants in order to support and care for wildlife and their natural habitat. Your efforts will benefit the environment and our community.
Wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothes and closed-toed shoes. To cut down on the use of plastic, please bring a refillable water bottle and a bucket to pick up litter.
We welcome children to participate, but ask that those under 16 years of age to be accompanied by one chaperone for every 20 kids.

Without the help of dedicated volunteers and members, the East Bay Regional Park District could not offer the public the variety of services and programs that it does. There are many opportunities for you, your family, or your school or civicgroup to get involved.
