The Fire Department is a branch of the Public Safety Division within the East Bay Regional Parks District that is comprised of fire and lifeguard services. The fire department provides all typical emergency services including fire suppression, search and rescue, fuels management, and pre-hospital emergency medical care. The lifeguards provide public safety during recreational swim, aquatic programs and public water education including swim lessons, first aid training, and lifeguard training.
