Request for Bid for Goat-Grazing Service
The East Bay Regional Park District is seeking bids from prospective contractors that can provide a goat-grazing service within the Park District for the removal of exotic and flammable vegetation to create defensible space for fire protection. Deadline for submitting proposals is November 16, 2011. Professional Engineering and Environmental Services for the San Francisco Bay Trail: Pinole Shores to Bayfront Park
East Bay Regional Park District is soliciting sealed proposals from Civil Engineering/Environmental firms (California Registered Civil Engineer required) to provide professional engineering and environmental services for the San Francisco Bay Trail Pinole Shores to Bayfront Park segment. The Scope of Services is focused on preliminary design and environmental approval.

Anthony Chabot Campground Wildland Fuels Management Project
The project is located in East Bay Regional Park District‘s Anthony Chabot Family Campground, located east of Oakland and north of Castro Valley in Anthony Chabot Regional Park. The District is seeking experienced, reputable, and qualified contractors to reduce vegetation fuel volumes on 140 acres in the area around the campground to reduce the intensity of wildland fires and to enhance the existing fuel break, access, and evacuation routes.

Caretaker Opportunities
Caretaker Opportunities at the following East Bay Regional Park District sites are being offered. Please submit letter of interest outlining recent caretaker experience, three references, and explanation of why you think you would be qualified for this role. Responsibilities vary by site and are included in the attached exhibits. Future site visits and interviews will be arranged after review of letters of interest.
Vasco Caves Regional Preserve
Open until filled, available approximately November 2011
Location is on Vasco Road, Contra Costa County, California. District will provide an unfurnished one-bedroom Stuart Lodge near the Caves for use by the Caretaker. This residence has low electric conditions and is powered by a solar system with a generator as back up for cloudy days.
