Donations to the Park District are managed by the Regional Parks Foundation. Any amount donated above the cost of your annual membership is tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowable by law. For Donor Circle Membership, donations above the cost of family membership are tax-deductible. This amount varies depending on residency within or outside of Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. Contributions made through Donor Circle Memberships may not be restricted so that your donation may be directed to where the need is greatest.
Basic membership in either the individual or family category, as well as any purchase of membership add-ons and annual district permits, are not tax-deductible.
To make a gift to the Regional Parks Foundation, you can send a check payable to the Regional Parks Foundation to P.O. Box 21074 Crestmont Station, Oakland, CA 94620.
You may also donate your vehicle online. Vehicle donations made to the Foundation are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law, and hence the proceeds received by the Foundation from a vehicle donation cannot be applied toward purchases of park memberships and District programs.
