Educators Academy Scholarships

Dear Applicant:

The East Bay Regional Park District's Educators Academy is interested in providing training to both formal and non-formal teachers in an effort to broaden environmental education opportunities in the East Bay Regional Park District.

In order to reach as many teachers as possible, the Regional Parks Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the East Bay Regional Park District, offers a limited number of scholarships. Teachers must live and work in Alameda County or Contra Costa County. Preference will be given to teachers at schools with the most need, though all teachers are eligible to apply.

To apply for a scholarship you need only download the Educators Academy scholarship application, print, complete, and mail to the address indicated on the form. Do this at least 14 days before the beginning of the session for which you want financial assistance. You may attach extra sheets to explain personal needs if necessary. You will be contacted by mail within 2 weeks of the class date.

If you have any questions or need further information please do not hesitate to call Wanda Bolden-Ross in the Public Affairs office at (510) 544-2202.

Sincerely,

Rosemary Cameron
Executive Director
