Storm Damage in the East Bay Regional Parks

The heavy winter rains have caused severe damage in our parks, including landslides, washed out trails, erosion and downed trees. In some parks, flooding and rising lake waters have submerged trails, picnic areas, campgrounds, swim beaches and access to lake areas. Our park staff is working hard to get as many of the parks back to public access and recreation. However, some trails or access to recreational areas may take months or longer to restore, and will remain closed to ensure public safety. We appreciate your patience during this time. Please check our website frequently for current park conditions, such as trail closures, before visiting the parks. Thank you.
