Naturalist Information

Naturalist programs and activities are great ways to learn about natural history and local east bay history as it relates to its effects on natural communities. The Park District's visitor centers have individual activity guides, which conveniently list programs, classes, and activities led by naturalists.

To register for a naturalist-led program, call 1-888-EBPARKS (1-888-327-2757), press option 2  or Register Online.

Tuesday Twilights 2015

Enjoy the sunset, moonrise, flitting bats, and starry skies with your friends and family all summer long! These naturalist-guided programs take place in parks throughout the District and vary in difficulty, and are usually not suitable for organized groups; see individual descriptions for details or call the naturalist at the number listed. Bring water, snacks, and a flashlight; wear layered clothing and good hiking shoes. Tuesday Twilights are free, drop-in programs EXCEPT for boating programs May 19 and August 25.
