Park’n It Day Camp and Leaders-in-Training Program

Park’n It Day Camp

Park’n It Day Camp is a traditional summer day camp program that takes place Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm in various East Bay Regional Parks. Camps feature hands-on experiences under the care of our highly-trained staff of recreation leaders, lifeguards, and naturalists. 

Your child will learn about our park ecology, play games, make art projects, go fishing, hiking, and swimming, and enjoy field trips to other parks.

Time:  Monday through Friday, 9am to 4pm

Ages: 5 to 12 years old

Cost: $200 per week for Alameda and Contra Costa County residents / $220 per week for non-residents.

Financial Aid is available. Print out and mail in the downloadable PDF form below, or call 1-(888) 327-2757, option 2 to have one sent to you. Complete the form and send it in. If you are awarded a scholarship, our Reservations staff will call you to complete registration.

The Leaders-in-Training (LIT) program is a youth development program where teens gain work experience in our Park’n It Day Camp program.

Are you looking for work experience or a career in Parks + Recreation? Do you like working with kids and being outdoors? Under staff guidance, you will work with other teens in supervising campers, leading games, and learning about careers in the parks. LITs get a hoodie, t-shirt, 35 community service hours, and a gift card with the successful completion of a weeklong session. We encourage youth to apply for multiple sessions.

Time: Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4pm

Application Deadline: April 21, 2017

Cost: $50 per session

Application: To become an LIT, first complete an application, interview, and be accepted into the program. At that point you may register and pay the fee.
