Anyone interested in visiting an East Bay Regional Park is welcome to apply for a program. It is our goal to raise awareness of all the opportunities happening in the Regional Parks and to make it as easy as possible to schedule a program.
The cost for an Interpretive Program is $61/hour for each district employee involved. Fees for recreation programs and special events vary. We understand barriers, such as transportation and program fees, make it difficult to coordinate a program, and we’re here to help!
> Non-profit Organizations and Government Agencies: 501(c)(3) status non-profit organizations and area municipalities that serve groups from Alameda or Contra Costa Counties from low income families, seniors, or people with disabilities that cannot afford fees are eligible to apply for a fee reduction. (Applying doesn’t guarantee a fee reduction will be granted.) For information and to apply for a fee reduction please click HERE.
You may apply for an outreach program at any time. Once your application is received, staff will contact you to schedule a program based on your needs and staff availability.
Low cost transportation is offered to school groups and non-profit groups that qualify through the Parks Express program.
Information may be obtained by calling Parks Express at 510-544-2205 or by reviewing the Parks Express page.
Note: Transportation and program reservations must be made separately. Reservations for one does not assure reservations for the other.
If you meet the eligibility requirements for Parks Express, but your organization is unable to pay the copay, please call 510-544-2546 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org for information on transportation assistance.
Public transportation to the parks may also be available. Please visit our Public Transit page for details.
Please call the program coordinator or visitor center where your program is scheduled immediately if you find it necessary to cancel. Rain will not cancel scheduled programs. We may have to alter your program, but we will be here to meet your group.
