The Regional Parks Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1969 to support the East Bay Regional Park District through fundraising to provide universal access, environmental stewardship, educational and recreational programs and the acquisition of parklands.
Donations to the Park District are managed by the Regional Parks Foundation. Donations and memberships purchased through the Regional Parks Foundation are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowable by law. For Angler memberships, donations above the cost of the fishing benefit are tax-deductible.

You may also donate your vehicle online. Vehicle donations made to the Foundation are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law, and hence the proceeds received by the Foundation from a vehicle donation cannot be applied toward purchases of park memberships and District programs.

Memorial bench donations are accepted only for placement of a bench at a location previously identified by the Park Supervisor. Each Park Supervisor will prepare a Bench Plan for his/her respective parks and regional trails, identifying suitable bench locations. The park’s Bench Plan is approved annually by the Unit Manager. The Park Supervisor will work with the Donor to select a bench site from the Bench Plan and complete the Standard Bench Agreement and Commemorative Plaque Agreement.
